Where will the light poles be located?

How tall will the light poles be?
The light poles are 25m high. For reference the existing sports field light poles within Surrey Park vary between 25 – 28m height.
What type of light fittings will be installed as part of the project?
Smart LED light fittings. LED light fittings control light spill (obtrusive light) really well which means that the sports field lights can do what they are designed to do and focus light onto the sports field and not onto neighbouring properties.
What controls are in place to ensure that the sports field lights are used appropriately?
The Whitehorse City Council Floodlighting Policy – Outdoor Sports and Recreation will control the use of the sports field lights. A copy of the policy can be found at www.whitehorse.vic.gov.au/floodlighting-policy.
