Share your ideas to help us upgrade the play space at Surrey Park, Box Hill.
This project will create a larger, diverse, modern play and integrated social recreation space, including upgraded playground equipment, new social recreation facilities, more supporting amenities, and a review of the existing outdoor fitness stations.
Project highlights:
- Play space upgrade: Reviewing the two existing play spaces at Surrey Park. Explore opportunities to redevelop a high-quality municipal (large-scale) play space in the north-west corner of the park.
- Social recreation equipment: Adding new recreation facilities next to the play space, which may include a bouldering wall, parkour structure, skate loop or table tennis.
- Basketball and netball: Exploring future design option for the existing outdoor basketball and netball courts located near the south-east corner of Surrey Park.
- Outdoor Fitness Equipment: Reviewing the outdoor fitness stations' condition at Surrey Dive and Canterbury Road and potentially moving it to the new recreation space.
We want to hear from children and their families, as well as local and broader park users, to help shape this future destination.
Use our online survey to vote for your favourite types of play and recreation equipment from a list suited to the site. We also welcome general feedback on the existing outdoor fitness stations and basketball and netball courts.
