Consultation has concluded

The Whitehorse Women’s Forum - Resilient Women

Every year, Council hosts a Women’s Forum to promote the health and wellbeing of women in the community.

The theme for year’s event, is ‘resilient women’. This is particularly important given the many challenges our community has faced throughout the pandemic. Join this forum to hear inspirational stories from others and learn insights useful to your life.

Renowned human rights activist, Khadija Gbla is headlining the Whitehorse Women’s Forum. Khadija will share stories about the resilience of refugee and migrant women and some of her own experiences as an African Australian woman.

Khadija Gbla will be joined by guest speakers Jen Thompson, Consultant and Psychotherapist, who will discuss how to create a resilience plan, and Rosalyn Sandwell, of HealthAbility, who will highlight services and supports available.
