Box Hill Community Arts Centre is inviting adults with a disability from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds to take part in a fun, group art project, 'Voices of Art'.

Starting Monday 23 March, 10 participants will work together with an experienced art facilitator to create artworks as part of a shared project.

You don’t need any art or creative experience to join. This project is a chance to:

  • Learn new creative skills
  • Meet new people
  • Enjoy making art together

All sessions will be run in plain English.

This project is free. It is funded by the Inclusive Arts Grant from the National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA) and supported by Whitehorse City Council.

Places are limited. We will try to match activities to participants’ interests but may need to make group-based decisions to manage staff and venue needs.

NDIS funding is not required to take part.

Due to very limited availability in the project, Box Hill Community Arts Centre staff will contact you to advise on the outcome by Wednesday 18 March. We will endeavour to meet the interests of participants, however we may need to take a majority approach to manage staff and venue resources.
