Thank you to everyone who participated in the two rounds of community engagement for the Streetscape Upgrade. We appreciate the valuable feedback we received throughout the engagement either through the survey, email, phone or in person on the concept plans.
The Vermont East Shopping Centre streetscape upgrade is scheduled to commence in April 2026.
Key upgrades to the streetscape include:
- An improved pedestrian footpath
- Installation of one new accessible car park
- Installation of a pedestrian crossing point, creating better access to the bus stop.
- Improved landscaping with integrated seating
- Inclusion of water sensitive urban design elements including a raingarden and permeable paving around street trees.
