Thank you to everyone who provided feedback during the two rounds of engagement for the Tyrol Park Landscape Concept Plan. Your input helped inform the final Landscape Concept Plan, which was endorsed by Council on 10 November 2025.
The endorsed plan sets a long-term vision for improvements to the reserve over the next 15 years, including:
- Upgrading the play space and other facilities in the north-east section of the park.
- Installing half basketball court, and fitness equipment to support a range of age groups.
- Establishing a connected path network through Tyrol Park.
- Providing additional seating throughout the reserve.
- Installing signage at park entrances.
- Planting additional trees and vegetation across the park.
More information about the engagement activities and community feedback is available in the Landscape Concept Plan report.
Next steps
Council is currently planning for the installation of the playground, half basketball court and fitness equipment at Tyrol Park. These facilities are the highest priority for delivery under the Landscape Concept Plan. Further updates will be shared as the project progresses through the design and construction stages.
