We would like your feedback on the Draft Terrara Park Playground Concept Design.
The Draft Concept Design reflects what the community told us during our first round of consultation in 2025. It also responds to the Whitehorse Open Space Strategy’s directions for a major upgrade at Terrara Park to enhance recreation opportunities.
Due to a Melbourne Water drainage easement, the playground has been relocated slightly.
The Draft Concept Design focuses on better play and recreation opportunities for all ages while improving safety and accessibility. Key features include:
- An upgraded play space featuring different areas for kids 0-12 years old as well as a ninja course.
- More social recreation opportunities including proposed fitness equipment and a multipurpose half ball court.
- Upgraded park features including new path connections, additional seating and increased plant buffering for locals.
- New on-demand lighting that will help to enhance visibility and community safety following your feedback. Read our FAQs about how and when the lights can be operated.
Share your thoughts on the draft plan to help us finalise it.
