The Whitehorse Seniors Festival celebrates older residents and the important contribution they make to our community. Held from 1–31 October 2026, the Festival promotes connection, lifelong learning, health and wellbeing, and positive ageing.

Community organisations, clubs and service providers are invited to host events that engage seniors. Activities may be held during the day or evening, on weekdays or weekends, and should be free or low-cost to ensure accessibility.

Providing light refreshments is encouraged where possible, as it helps create a welcoming atmosphere and supports social connection.

All Expressions of Interest will be reviewed to ensure a balanced program across the month. Council may work with hosts to adjust dates where multiple activities fall on the same day. Flexibility is appreciated.

Maximum of five (5) events per host.
