Have your say on Koonung Park, Blackburn North

We are inviting community feedback to help us develop a Master Plan for Koonung Park, and to introduce on-demand lighting for community use.

Help us shape these upgrades by sharing what’s important to you.

What is the project?

• Master Plan: The goal of this project is to better support and encourage community participation in a diverse range of sporting and social recreation activities. The Master Plan will set the vision and direction for Koonung Park to meet the needs of our growing community.
• On-demand lighting: New, on-demand sports field lights could be made available to the community in the mornings and evenings when not in use by clubs.

What are we asking?

We would like to know how you currently use Koonung Park and how we can improve the area overall. We would also like you to share your thoughts on how new lighting should be used by the community.

How to get involved:

Complete the online survey. This survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete, and your answers are anonymous. Your data will be handled in accordance with Whitehorse City Council's privacy policy.

Chat to our team in-person at a pop-up session at the park on Saturday 16 August, from 10am to 12pm.
