Currently there will be no changes to the frequency of collections. The garden organics bin will be collected fortnightly and the garbage bin will be collected weekly.

Well done for composting at home! We encourage residents to compost at home, as it is a great way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and create a nutrient-rich compost for your garden. Visit our compost page for our incentive program.

For food items that can't be easily composted at home, the new food and garden waste service will be able to accept and compost most food scraps when available. 

Further details will be provided at a later date of what will be accepted in the new service.

Our garden waste processor is currently unable to accept food waste and requires a facility upgrade, as food waste requires different treatment to garden organic waste.
