Development of Council’s Corporate Emissions Reduction Plan (CERP) is identified as a Year 1 action of the Whitehorse Integrated Council Plan 2025-2029, and key action in Council’s Climate Response Plan 2023-2026.

Please find attached the Strategy Report and draft CERP. We’d like to provide councillors the opportunity to review and provide any initial feedback until Wednesday 15 April 2026 to better shape these documents in preparation for this Strategy Meeting by:

• Proving insights via the questions below and/or
• Meeting and discussing any elements with Steven White, Director Infrastructure & Sustainability.

The report and draft CERP will then be presented at the Strategy Meeting on Monday 4 May 2026 for further opportunity to provide feedback.

Officers will continue to develop and refine the draft CERP, incorporating feedback and further analysis into the final draft to be considered by Council on Monday 1 June 2026.
