Have your say on the Draft Disability Action Plan 2026–2030

A Disability Action Plan helps Council create a fair, welcoming and inclusive community for everyone.

We’ve been working alongside our community for 25 years to improve access and inclusion. Now, we’re inviting you to review the Draft Disability Action Plan 2026–2030 and tell us what you think.

Your feedback will help finalise the plan and guide Council’s work over the next four years.

The draft plan has been shaped by community feedback from Round 1. This is your chance to make sure we’ve got it right.

Council is committed to ensuring all community members have equitable access to services, programs and public spaces.

Developing the Plan

This Disability Action Plan is guided by a framework that is focused on delivering positive change informed by the lived experience of people with disability.

The framework recognises that inclusion is achieved not through individual actions alone, but through sustained efforts to remove barriers and strengthen the conditions that enable participation.

The approach ensures the Plan remains focused not only on what Council will do, but on the difference those actions are intended to make.
