Community Grants Review

Consultation has concluded

We are pleased to announce that our Community Grants program is bigger and better than ever, with six new grant categories available to the community. Funding has been added to support Diversity and Inclusivity, Environmental Sustainability, Health and Wellbeing, Creativity, Seed Funding and Positive Ageing activities.

The program provides financial assistance to support not-for-profit and incorporated organisations delivering services that make a positive contribution to the Whitehorse community. These grants can help to purchase equipment or deliver projects, programs and initiatives.

Feedback on the Community Grants Review closed on 28 September 2022.

We undertook a review of the Community Grants Program to assess its effectiveness, reach and impact.

The annual Whitehorse Community Grants Program provides financial support to not for profit and incorporated organisations located in, or delivering services to, the people of Whitehorse.

Through this program, Council supports community organisations, clubs and groups to develop and implement a wide range of recreational, cultural, social and broad community initiatives that make a positive local contribution to the health and wellbeing of the Whitehorse community.

The Whitehorse 2040 Community Vision, guides the Community Grants Program to ensure that Council invests in initiatives that support the communities priorities.
