Council is hosting a community information forum about Victorian Government’s proposed planning reforms, including the Suburban Rail Loop, housing targets, and activity centres (train and tram zones) around Blackburn, Nunawading and Mitcham Stations. This event will be an opportunity for community members to ask questions to an expert panel of planning and industry professionals.
We will endeavour to address all submitted questions. However, if we receive a large number of questions, we may not be able to respond to each one.
📅 Date: Thursday 27 February 2025
🕕 Time: Door opens at 6pm where light refreshments will be served. The forum will run from 6:30PM - 8:30PM
📍 Location: Function rooms 1 & 2, The Round, 379-399 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading
We are waiting to confirm additional speakers but are pleased to have locked in:
- Dr Stephen Rowley, Senior Associate SGS Economics and Planning and adjunct Senior Lecturer in Monash Urban Planning and Design
