About the project

Whitehorse One Voice is a joyful intergenerational choir project co-designed by Whitehorse City Council’s Positive Ageing team and Creativity Australia Inc., celebrating community connection through music. Video 1 takes you behind the scenes to the early rehearsals, where local groups came together with plenty of laughter to prepare John Farnham’s iconic ‘You’re the Voice,’ a song chosen by the community through Council’s Your Say platform. Video 2 presents the uplifting final performance after months of collaboration—showcasing schools, seniors, choirs and community groups uniting to share their voices with pride. Together, these videos tell a heart-warming story of creativity, confidence and community spirit leading into the 2025 Whitehorse Seniors Festival.
