Council is proposing to sell a narrow 75m2 section of former laneway located between the properties at 23 and 25 Bentley Street, Surrey Hills. The land would be sold to an adjacent property owner.

The land was discontinued as a road in 2017. It has a width of 1.7m and length of 44.2m and is currently fenced into an adjacent owner’s property. The land is not considered to be reasonably required for community access or use into the future.

All submissions will be considered in Council’s decision-making process. Following this consultation, Council may decide to sell the land or not to sell the land.
