Help shape the new Ballyshannassy Park Pavilion

We asked you for your ideas for a new pavilion at Ballyshannassy Park in 2025 and you told us what matters most. Thank you to everyone who shared feedback in Round 1. Your ideas and priorities have directly shaped the draft pavilion design we’re now presenting.

We heard strong and consistent feedback about the need for modern, inclusive amenities, welcoming social spaces, improved spectator comfort, better accessibility, enhanced safety, and sustainable design.

Using your feedback, we’ve developed a draft pavilion plan that reflects these priorities and responds to the key themes raised.

Round 2 engagement focuses on the proposed design. We’re inviting you to tell us what’s working, what could be improved, and what matters most before plans are finalised.

The proposed redevelopment will replace the ageing pavilion at Ballyshannassy Park with a modern, inclusive and fit-for-purpose facility that better supports sport and everyday community use.

Delivery of this pavilion is dependent on securing external funding, including Victorian Government investment, in addition to Council’s contribution.
