In-Person Meeting 31 July 2026
8:30am - 12:30pm
Location: Google HQ Melbourne Quarter Tower
Level 32 695 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008
This SIG meeting brings together key insights from the first sector-wide AI adoption baseline report, drawing on input from 2,500 local government professionals across 22 councils. The program includes a CEO panel bringing the data to life, a fireside conversation with Google, and the live finale of the What I Did With AI showcase.
What I Did With AI is a competition celebrating how individuals and teams across Victorian councils are using AI in their day-to-day work. Shortlisted entries will be presented on screen, with live audience voting on the day. Winners will receive a share of the $1,500 prize pool, and all submissions will be included in a sector-wide showcase deck shared with participating councils.
Please note: This is a registration of interest only. Places are limited to 100 and will be offered to Victorian local government professionals on a first come, first served basis. Once capacity is reached, additional registrations will be placed on a waitlist.
Attendance will be confirmed separately via calendar invitation from the AI Enablement SIG convener.
