Council is proposing to sell a small 70m2 section of land located adjacent to the rear of 105 Kenmare Street, Mont Albert North. The land, which is a former drainage and sewerage reserve, would be sold to the adjacent property owner.
The landlocked site is part of a larger reserve which was subdivided and acquired by Council in 2007 under Section 24A of the Subdivision Act 1988. The land (Lot 21 on PS600530A) has a width of 4.57m and length of 15.24m and is currently fenced into an adjacent owner’s property. Due to the size and location of the land it is not considered to be reasonably required for community access or use into the future.

All submissions will be considered in Council’s decision-making process. Following this consultation, Council may decide to sell the land or not to sell the land.
